Buying a new computer and all its peripherals can be quite a jungle. This HOWTO is meant to give a few pointers how to buy equipment that will give you minimum trouble.
The most important thing when buying a computer is to buy components that conforms to international standards. Often such equipment is designated professional and so the price goes up. This guide does not concern itself with price.
This guide will list key points associated with each component and then give some examples.
