ScoutScape is a virtual world, part of the interverse virtual universe. It uses the crystalspace vector engine at the moment, but should be independent of both engine and renderer.
It's a place where you can explore interactively your virtual surroundings.
You can meet people, take a bus ride, ride your hummer through dense terrain, blow up houses, find a sweet spot to play death match with your friends, go tours in the mountain, take a bath in the lake, fly a helicopter through the canyons and even go practise your tactical skills against the well protected fortress known as Castle Beauty.
It's a free world using only freely licensed (GPL) meshes. This means that you freely can extend this environment. You can also build your own virtual world in interverse and use meshes from other worlds.
By means of portals, you can travel between worlds and visit other people. Different physical laws may be present in other worlds.
When you enter other world, you can bring objects with you.
You move very fast in None Lives Forever, considering you're carrying 50kg of equipment. Maximum run speed is 40km/h; a little more than the fastest running speed of man.
