1 Stand a tripod on the soil. Tighten down the leg locks on the tripod through your fingers. Screw the platform screw on the top about the tripod firmly into the tripod socket on the bottom of the laser level.

2 Glide the power switch on the back of the laser level on. Let the laser degree self-level itself; level the laser by palm using the bubble on the top plus adjusting the knees regarding the tripod if no self-leveling mechanism is involved.

3 Rotate the tripod's platform so that the the front of the laser degree remains pointing toward the wall where the concrete is to be poured. Tighten the knob on the tripod to lock the laser degree so that it may no longer be moved.

4 Wrap the laser receiving module's strap around the measurement pole about a third in out of one end. Tighten the strap.

5 Place the end of the pole farthest from the laser receiving module against the base of the wall. Remain the pole against the wall. Slide the power switch on the laser receiving module to the "On" place.

8 Measure 1-1/4 inches lower away from the drawn line to indicate the height that the concrete need to have when poured to have the appropriate slope

Tips & Cautions

The measurement pole wants to be the same length because that regarding the wall it is being used against.
